SignMeIn™ is a HIPAA-compatible software solution to front-desk sign-in. Clients or patients sign the Topaz® signature pad at the front desk and all of their information is saved to a computer, keeping personal information safe and private. Included with the SignMeIn download is both SignMeIn.ocx and SignMeInReport.ocx.
SignMeIn.ocx is an ActiveX control for creating easily-integrated, front-desk applications using signature capture. Signatures, along with accompanying data (visitor's name, appointment time/date, etc.) are stored in an Access database. Signature records can then be viewed using the SignMeInReport.ocx control. SignMeIn.ocx must be used in conjunction with the Topaz SigPlus® Pro ActiveX signature capture control for capturing signatures.
SignMeInReport.ocx is a software tool solution that gives front desk administrators easy to use tools for viewing and organizing admission records captured with the SignMeIn ActiveX control. In its native form, SignMeInReport gives organizations all the functionality required in a front desk/sign-in report generator application but still allows for individual companies to develop and customize the software to fit their individual needs.
