Simi Valley, CA - May 17, 2013 - Topaz Systems, Inc., a global leader in electronic signature solutions, announced today the release of SigPlusWeb™, a new NPAPI plug-in for the easy integration of signature capture functionality into a web application using the Firefox and Chrome browsers under Windows.
The new SigPlusWeb plug-in allows for the rapid integration of signature capture functionality into a web application using very high-level code. Fully compatible with other SDKs within Topaz® "eSign Ecosystem®", SigPlusWeb plug-in returns a Topaz "SigString" (Topaz's proprietary, biometric signature format), along with AutoKey functionality for signature/document binding, for a complete eSign-compliant solution which provides signature data seamlessly to the web server. SigPlusWeb can also provide signature images in a portable format to the web server. The same web page code can be used under Firefox and Chrome, and works with all Topaz pads, with no need for a special pad model, thereby increasing the value an versatility of the solution. SigPlusWeb is available for download for use with any Topaz signature pad, including the hundreds of thousands of pads already deployed in the field.
"SigPlusWeb allows developers to quickly create a signature capture-ready web application for use in many of today's most popular web browsers on any Topaz electronic signature pad" said Anthony Zank, President and CEO of Topaz. "This represents our continued commitment to our fully integrated eSign Ecosystem, which provides development standardization and beneficial network effects to our customers."
