Remote Usage for HSB Pads
Remote Usage With SigSock For Topaz HSB Pads
SigSock™ is a two-part interface that allows Topaz® HSB® (HID USB) signature pads (pad models ending in HSB-R) to be used in a Citrix or Terminal Server environment.
Essentially, a small client utility is placed on the client computer and run, which collects data from the signature pad as the author signs. From there, the data is sent over to the server (using TCP Ports 47289, 47290, and 47800) where SigPlus® collects it.

Remote Usage With The HSB-To-COM Driver For Topaz HSB Pads
The Topaz® HSB-to-COM driver allows any Topaz HSB® signature pad (HID USB) to operate as a BSB® pad (virtual serial via USB) on a Windows-based client. With the HSB-to-COM driver, pad users with model numbers ending in “HSB-R” can use their device(s) via a virtual COM port created on the client machine.
The driver diverts data from the pad's USB port on the client machine to the virtual COM port.
The HSB-to-COM driver should not be installed on the server, only on the Windows client.
