PRESS RELEASE: Topaz Announces DeskGem Electronic Signature Pad
Director of Marketing
Simi Valley, CA - April 28, 2004 - Topaz Systems, Inc. announces the release of DeskGem™-series electronic signature tablets, designed to save space on desktops by replacing a standard mousepad. Tests have demonstrated that even in a cluttered work environment, the mousepad is kept neatly available at all times, making the built-in signature capture feature faster and easier to use - saving time and money. This can also be important in applications where a good appearance is important, such as when dealing directly with customers or clients.
In addition, the Topaz® DeskGem signature mouse pad is bundled with powerful and fully-functional SigPlus® eSign software, including Word, Excel, and Acrobat Plug-ins, ActiveX and Java tools and unlimited software updates. This is fully functional, legally compliant signature software - not demonstration or limited capability software.
"DeskGem is a result of Topaz's commitment to developing new technology to meet the demands of our customers for performance, quality, and convenience," says Topaz President Anthony Zank. "This convenient dual-function unit and the complete and powerful software that comes with it are just the latest examples of our leadership in the development of electronic signature solutions."
