Function: Sets correct communication protocol for MicroGem and MicroGem LCD
tablets.
Arguments: Bool:
Mode TRUE indicates the tablet is a Topaz MicroGem series
tablet (LCD option).
FALSE indicates otherwise. FALSE is the default.
Return Value: Void.
